NEW HAMPSHIRE GRILLING COMPETITION

For the 5th year, the Rock ‘N Ribfest is hosting the New Hampshire Barbecue Championships.  This event, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), is the official state championships as proclaimed by Governor John Lynch.  The barbecue competition will be held on Sunday, with the competition beginning at noon.  The meats to be judged will be:

-       Chicken

-       Pork Ribs

-       Pork Butt/Shoulder

-       Beef Brisket

In addition, the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS) and Nashua Rotary West are hosting a New Hampshire Grilling Competition on Saturday, June 23^rd beginning at noon.  The meats to be judged will be: 

-           Fish Steak

-       Sausage

-       Beef Steak

-       Grilled Fruit - Why not? 

The contest area will be within the Ribfest festival grounds, so thousands of attendees can watch you prepare your award winning meats.  Contestants can enter either contest or both.  Barbecuing contestants will be able to stay on the festival grounds throughout Saturday night as you prepare your barbecue meats (24 security will be on the premises).
